Update a line of workwear to improve comfort in the field, incorporate a new visual identity, and enhance safety for technicians

The Need
At the end of an initial contract, Chronoflex wanted to renew its professional workwear with a clear objective: improve the existing collection, support the rollout of a new brand identity and adapt its high-visibility clothing range to field constraints.
The key challenges identified by Chronoflex:
•improve day-to-day workwear comfort and ergonomics
• integrate the company’s new visual identity, including a new logo;
• adapt the high-visibility clothing range;
• secure the choice of solutions through technical and regulatory expertise.
The Solution Implemented
Mulliez-Flory supported Chronoflex through a co-design approach involving end users. A working group made up of a panel of Chronoflex technicians was welcomed to Mulliez-Flory’s facilities to identify areas for improvement within the collection based on their needs and field feedback.
This consultation phase made it possible to combine the technicians’ field experience with Mulliez-Flory’s textile, technical and regulatory expertise.
Among the improvements implemented:
• redesigned pockets to improve ergonomics;
• addition of bibs to facilitate garment labeling by the laundry service provider;
• implementation of PPE and high-visibility garments adapted to field use;
• integration of Chronoflex’s new brand guidelines.
Deployment
Today, 350 Chronoflex employees wear garments from the collection.
Mulliez-Flory also supported Chronoflex with related tools and services:
• provision of an ordering platform;
• rápida incorporación de los comentarios recibidos durante la puesta en marcha de la herramienta
• adaptation of the collection to washing, labeling and safety constraints.
Results
The benefits identified by Chronoflex relate to daily use, perceived garment durability and team safety:
- improved day-to-day comfort for teams;
- better garment fit and durability;
- enhanced compliance and safety thanks to PPE and high-visibility garments.
Concrete examples:
•Se han rediseñado los bolsillos para ofrecer una mejor ergonomía a los técnicos;
• bibs make garment labeling easier for the laundry service provider;
• PPE/high-visibility garments help secure interventions requiring enhanced visibility.

“We are satisfied with Mulliez-Flory’s support, their attentiveness to our expectations and those of our members.”
Support
Chronoflex highlights a working relationship built on listening, close collaboration with end users and responsiveness. The consultation phase made it possible to gather the technicians’ practical expectations and translate them into product improvements.
Feedback related to the ordering platform was also handled quickly, demonstrating Mulliez-Flory’s ability to support the client beyond textile design alone.
A long-term partnership established since 2021.
